OUR STORY

Reed Construction began in 1953, when H. Cullen Reed, Sr. and H. Cullen Reed, Jr. built their first home together in Spartanburg, South Carolina. In the late 1970s, Cullen “Len” Reed, III joined the business and went on to build more than 250 custom homes across Upstate South Carolina, earning induction into the South Carolina Housing Hall of Fame in 2004.

Today, with Len still offering perspective and experience, Garrett Reed and his wife Allison are carrying that legacy forward through the same high-touch, highly personal approach that has defined Reed Construction for generations. With offices in Spartanburg and Greenville, Reed Construction remains intentionally boutique—serving more of the Upstate without losing what matters most: relationships and craftsmanship.
