Garrett Reed | Vice President

Garrett started his construction career at the age of 12 with a broom, a trash bag and a bicycle.  He grew up in the industry working summers and after school for his father at Len Reed Construction.  While in college at Clemson University, he worked on a framing crew, and went on to build custom homes for Len Reed Construction after graduation. Garrett left custom home building in late 2007 to gain experience outside of the construction industry.

During that time, he gained experience in real estate valuation, project management, and custom design/build process management. The time away from construction awarded him with the opportunity to operate restaurants for Chick-fil-A, Inc., and to lead a custom apparel design and distribution program for Chick-fil-A, Inc. with OOBE Design Group.

Garrett rejoined the family business in 2017 as a fourth-generation custom home builder, bringing with him efficiencies and work ideologies that shape the way that Reed Construction interacts with customers, contractors and the custom home building process.

When Garrett is not serving clients and building homes, he is spending time with his wife, Allison, and their three children, Emerson, Evan and Hadley.  Garrett is president of his neighborhood HOA board in the Verdae Community, and on weekends teaches a Sunday School class at Grace Church in downtown Greenville.
